The ListenTALK R162 System is a portable wireless one-way communication system for 2 hosts and up to 14 participants. You can easily create a group by pressing a button in the Docking Station Case 16. It is ideal for tours, trainings, simultaneous translations, etc. This is a portable assistive listening system designed for the use of hearing-impaired individuals. The system should be able to operate in the 1.9 GHz license-free PCS band using Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) techniques that allow for interference-free one-way communication. Pairing and grouping should be easy through Docking Station or Software Package. The system receivers are easy to operate with Power, Volume Up and Down buttons. Transmitters and receivers are operated with removable, non-proprietary rechargeable lithium-ion battery or optional 3 AAA alkaline battery compartment. The system devices should have a 3.5mm headphone jack that allows them to work with a standard style headset. The transmitter-receiver has an auto-dimming OLED screen that allows the display of all current conditions (group name, sound levels, mute, battery status, remaining time, signal strength, unit ID, mode, etc.). The transmitter-receiver will have a leader clip and when attached, the unit will automatically identify itself as the leader and allow the leader/host to control pairing/grouping. Transmitters and receivers include an automatic battery charging circuit to charge and protect with placement station using the lithium-ion battery micro USB port or additional charging contacts on the bottom of the devices.
